ONE MORE DAY TO TUNE-IN GUYS!

Anyway, a particular group in the band has been putting in much effort for the skit performance tomorrow! So here's a peek into what's been happening during the rehearsals!

Hello everyone!

Do take note that there's a change in the tune-in timing on the 11th Dec! There's an extension of 1.5 hours now!

Tune-in is now from 12nn to 7.30pm, not 6pm!

Please try to stay all the way till 7.30pm! It's only an extension of enjoyment and fun that day! So see you guys there!:D

The entire tune-in, the games in particular, would be closely related to our awesome theme! It'll be a whole lot of fun, so all the graduating members out there, remember to contact us if you're interested! :D

Objective: To allow graduating O level students to experience the environment in AJC and how the band operates.

This is the BEST opportunity for all graduating O level musicians to experience how it's like to be in AJC Band! There will be a whole lot of FUN with games, food, band practice and etc!

Interested 'O' level students are encouraged to send their queries directly to us at ajc.sb@hotmail.com. Please allow us a day(or two) for a reply from our executive committee members.

Our audition dates are not confirmed as yet but are tentatively scheduled in late June/early July at the following times:

23 June 2009, 10.00am

9 July 2009, 4.30pm

We invite all students who have experience on the following instruments to attend the audition. Priority will be given to students who play the instruments indicated in bold.

Flute/Piccolo
Clarinet
Oboe
Saxophone
Bassoon
Trumpet
French Horn
Trombone
Euphonium
Tuba
Double Bass
Percussion

Applicants should prepare a short piece of music on their instrument that displays their abilities. Be prepared to be tested on scales as well as sight reading in addition to a short interview to get to know you better (:

Applicants are highly encouraged to bring their own instruments, reeds, mouthpieces, etc. If you should require an instrument for your audition, do email us at ajc.sb@hotmail.com and our QMs will try and make the necessary arrangements for you.
